ML4UVA: Satellite-Based Carbon Sequestration Estimation

Developed a custom convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture using Keras to classify multi-spectral Landsat 8 satellite imagery. Achieved 89% validation accuracy in segmenting Virginia’s wetlands, contributing to climate-focused machine learning research.
